Horta Museum

Located in the old Colégio dos Jesuítas, the museum has several pieces on display relating to the history of Faial and its port. It has several examples of an ethnographic and popular nature, as well as furniture. It also exhibits a good collection of Sacred Art from the 16th to the 19th centuries. We highlight the collection of unique works in fig tree, created and offered to the museum by the local artist Euclides Rosa, before passing away in 1979.
