The Horta Bay is the second Portuguese bay, after Setúbal Bay, to integrate “The Most Beautiful Bays of the World Club”, since the World Congress that took place in Bodrum, Turkey and Patmos, Greece, in 2012.
“The Most Beautiful Bays in the World” is a non-profit organization with the seal of UNESCO, which distinguishes the most beautiful bays worldwide. Founded on March 10, 1997 in Berlin, the Club aims to contribute to sustainability in tourism, economic, and social development, through the exchange of experiences among participants.
“The Most Beautiful Bays in the World” é uma organização sem fins lucrativos, com chancela da Unesco, que reúne as mais belas baías do mundo. Fundado a 10 de Março de 1997 em Berlim, o Clube das Baías Mais Belas do Mundo tem como finalidade contribuir para o desenvolvimento turístico, económico e social sustentável, através da troca de experiências entre os participantes.
