Ponta da Espalamaca

A headland overlooking the City of Horta and Praia do Almoxarife. It is a privileged location to observe the movement of the port and the marina, internationally known by many yachtsmen crossing the Atlantic. Here we can have a good perception that we are, in fact, in an archipelago, as we can simultaneously see in addition to Faial, the islands of Pico, São Jorge and Graciosa. The image of Nossa Senhora da Conceição enhances this pilgrimage site.
